Our next Open House will take place on Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 pm in Ellis Hall Auditorium at Queen’s University.
The featured speaker this month is James Barron, a PhD Candidate at Queen’s. He will present “Cosmic Engines: The Lives and Deaths of Massive Stars”.
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Queen’s Observatory, where visitors will have the chance to view the planets and/or other celestial objects with our telescopes. The tour will also include a visit to the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute.
