The featured speaker this month is our PhD student, Akanksha Bij. She will present “ The Galaxy Files, Curious Cases of Cosmic Whodunits”.
The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Queen’s Observatory, where visitors will have the chance to view the planets and/or other celestial objects with our telescopes. The tour will also include a visit to the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute.
The Open House presentations are hybrid events that can also be joined virtually over zoom: https://queensu.zoom.us/j/92254657437?pwd=WqwYIrvgWxx9ezNhOABF9quNWFdjao.1
If you are unable to watch them live, the presentations are posted to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@queensobservatory169
