Zoom Social Chat
The Centre holds a weekly wednesday social chat using the zoom videoconferencing platform at 19:00 Eastern Time. The link is published in the kingston astronomy email list a day or two before Wednesday.
This is an informal get together for people to chat, Q&A, present an image, or images for a very short amount of time. This is *not* a forum meant to do a 10, 15, or 45 minute presentation.
This is limited to members and their guests, and to those subscribed to the email list.
Email Distribution List
The RASC Kingston Centre communicates with its members and members amongst themselves with an email distribution list.
To join the email list, please send an email to kingston (at) rasc (dot) ca with the subject email list request.
An email list moderator will process your request and send an invitation to join within a few days.

To request an account on the website, please send an email to kingston (at) rasc (dot) ca
A webteam member will review your request within a few days, we will verify your membership status and then create an account and email you the details.
Once you have logged in you will see a new option on the main header bar named "members"

---background on why there is no self service option---
The website was moved from a private host to a commercial host in 2018.
After that we were getting 100's of spam account registration requests daily, so turned that off and only do manual account creation on request.
