Queens Ellis Hall Observatory Open House

Event Date

Queens Ellis Hall Observatory Open House

This is your monthly reminder of the Open House this Saturday February 8th starting at 7:30 pm in Ellis Hall. This month's talk will be given by Alan Goodman from Queen's University on the "The Bizarre Life of Dead Stars," in which he will explain the strange properties of some of the most extreme objects in the universe, neutron stars!

As always, feel free to bring your own telescopes and binoculars, and to discuss your questions and findings with graduate students at Queen's and the awesome people from RASC!

The forecast is calling for partly cloudy on Saturday night, let's hope we can finally do some observing! The Orion Nebula, The Moon, The Pleiades, and The Andromeda Galaxy will all be visible, so lets hope for good weather!
