Dr. Barry Robertson: The Sudbury Neutrino Observatory - Looking at the Sun in a New Light

Dr. Barry Robertson, Professor Emeritus, Queens Physics, Past Associate Director, SNOLAB will be speaking at the University Club (168 Stuart St) on Thursday 2019 March 21 from 5:30-6:30pm.

"The Sudbury Neutrino Obseratory - Looking at the Sun in a New Light.

He spoke to the RASC Kingston Centre in November of 2001 on SNO.

I suspect it will be pretty non-technical given the background below:

This is your monthly reminder of the OpenHouse this Saturday March 9th starting at 7:30 pm in Ellis Hall. This month's talk will be given by Larry Widrow from Queen's University on: "Rediscovering our Galaxy". Larry will be talking about new insights into our galaxy, The Milky Way, that we have gained with advanced new telescopes! This is surely a talk you will not want to miss!
