RASC-KC Annual General Meeting & Elections

The next regular meeting of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Kingston Centre is on

Thursday 2018 November 8th, 7pm in Macintosh-Corry Hall Room D214, on Queen's University campus in Kingston Ontario.

There is free parking on surface lots: Macintosh Corry Parking Lot, with access off Union St.

Join us for dinner before the event (pay your own way) at The Sports Tap and Grill, located in the Queen's Inn at 125 Brock St for 4:45pm

There will be observing reports from members as well as astronomical announcements after the Annual General Meeting.

After the Annual General Meeting we have special guest speaker Joe Gilker coming to talk to us about getting started in wide-field astrophotography and night-time landscape photography.  If you check out Joe's website at you'll see that he's eminently qualified in the subject and is an experienced presenter.  Joe works with the Lennox and Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area and is an expert astrophotographer and avid blogger - lots of interesting information on his website about his growth and learning in astrophotography.
