The Queen's University Ellis Hall Observatory Open House:
This is your monthly reminder of the Open House this Saturday 2020 January 11th starting at 7:30 pm in the Queen's Ellis Hall Auditorium
This month's talk will be given by Simran Nerval from Queen's University on the "The Growth Spurt of the Early Universe, in which she will explain the perplexing science of inflation at the beginning of the universe!
Parking is free after 5 p.m. on the Mackintosh-Corry Parking Lot nearby (access from Union Street near Frontenac St).
The Queen's Observatory Open House is on Saturday 2019 December 14th from 7:30-10:30 EST.
This special month's guest speaker will be Nobel Prize Winner Prof Arthur McDonald speaking on "Going 2km Underground to Study the Sun" in which he will explain what we can learn about the sun and the universe from deep underground in a high tech lab!
Because of the large anticipated turnout, the talk will be given at the BioSciences Complex Auditorium , about a 5 minute walk east from Ellis Hall, home of the Observatory.
