The website was moved from a private host to a commercial host in 2018.
After that we were getting 100's of spam account registration requests daily, so turned that off and only do manual account creation on request.
To request an account on the website, please send an email to:

We will verify your membership status and then create an account and email you the details.

The RASC Kingston Centre email list remains the primary mode of communication between people interested in astronomy in the Kingston Ontario Canada region.
Email messages sent to the list are sent to everyone on the distribution list. You have the choice of replying to the list or replying to the individual only who sent the email, depending on the configuration of your email client.

Are you interested in observing or imaging the International Space Station going across the Moon or the Sun?
Look no farther than the website transit-finder.com
For instance it shows a pass of the ISS over the moon on Sunday 2018 July 29th at 01:09:54 EDT for approx 1.3 seconds in a line running NW to SE from Plevna to Gananoque.
For the sun, ensure you have a safe solar filter for viewing or imaging!
