The Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area presents "Astrophotographers Assemble". It's an informal evening where night sky photographers - from novice to expert and everyone in between - are encouraged to come out and photograph the stars overhead.

The RASC-KC Lottery prize has been drawn!

Thank you for being a part of The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Kingston Centre, 1st Fundraising Raffle.
Without your support we would not have been able to raise enough funds to assist in our Astronomy Outreach activities... and we really really appreciate it!
On Saturday 2019 June 8th at 9pm in the Queen's University Ellis Hall Auditorium, at the start of the Observatory Open House, the  Beginners Observing Kit Raffle Winner was drawn from all of the tickets sold.

Board Member volunteers needed

The RASC Kingston Centre governing Board of Directors is nominally  7 persons elected from the membership at the Annual General Meeting in the fall.
If there are vacancies the Board can appoint members to those vacant positions.  Currently we have some vacancies that you might want to consider:
Vice President: A low impact position that entails backing up the President to run Regular meetings.  This is a good starting get to know the ropes position.  This does NOT commit you to becoming the President next term! We do not have a succession system in place at all.

RASCKC Binocular Raffle!

Celestron 20x80 binoculars

We are holding our first fund raising raffle and tickets are now on sale!
