Queen’s Observatory Open House

The next Queen’s Observatory Open House will take place on Saturday August 19th at 8:00pm in Ellis Hall Auditorium at Queen's University.

 This month, we are very excited to feature Mark Richardson who is the Manager for Education and Public Outreach at the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute. Mark's presentation is titled "What Matter(s) Near Galaxies?"

The presentation will be followed by a tour of our facilities, including the McDonald Institute Visitor Centre and viewing nearby and deep-sky celestial objects with our telescopes (weather permitting).
